Jack Roth American, 1927-2004

Overview

Abstract expressionist Roth, represented by Knoedler & Co., one of the most renowned galleries at that time, taught mathematics at prominent universities and brought an analytical eye to his pictures that reflect a spontaneity and yet a carefully honed understanding of line and form.
