Overview

A crafts person and sculptor, Lillie Harper's specialty was pottery. She studied in New York City at Inwood Pottery, Grand Central Art School and Art Students League, and in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux Arts.Memberships were New York Society of Craftsmen and National Art Club. Exhibition venues included Catherine Lorrillard Wolfe Art Club, New York, 1930; Salons of America, 1934 and 1936; and Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 1936.
